Meet Your Instructor
Harry Parrish is the owner and lead instructor of HGP Training Solutions, an NRA-certified pistol instructor with over 30 years of experience shooting pistols, carbines, and shotguns.
NRA Certified Pistol Instructor — Holly Springs NC:
Harry holds an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor rating and teaches the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course, making him the ideal starting point for new and first-time shooters. NRA carbine and shotgun courses will be added as student demand grows.
IDPA & USPSA Competitive Shooter:
An active competitive shooter for the past five years, Harry competes in IDPA and USPSA matches across North Carolina and South Carolina in the Carry Optics and Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) divisions, bringing real competition experience to every class he teaches.
US Air Force Veteran & Expert Marksman:
A US Air Force and Air Force Reserve veteran (1989–1998), Harry earned Expert Marksman ratings for both the 9mm pistol and M16 carbine, a military foundation that shapes his disciplined, safety-first approach to instruction today.
Advanced Firearms Training & Certifications:
Harry has completed over 180 hours in advanced professional instruction from some of the most respected regional and national firearms training centers in the country, continuously refining his technique and teaching methodology across pistol, carbine, and shotgun platforms.
Cancellation Policy, Credits & Refunds

A full refund is available if you cancel 14 days or more before the class date. Cancellations made between 2 to 13 days before the class will receive a credit toward a future class. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class, or failure to attend without notice, will not receive a refund or credit.
